General Information
Background
These large green spiders lead the first spider packs you encounter in Naxxramas' Spider Wing.
Attacks and Abilities
- Poison Charge - Charges an enemy and causes poison damage to all within 10 yards of the target. Puts a debuff on players that does 2500 Nature damage every 3 sec for at least 9 sec. Appears to be random target. Combined with the Veil of Shadows from the Dread Creepers and this spells certain doom to anyone not wearing heavy Nature Resistance. Debuff can be cured.
Strategies
- We were only successful in killing the spider packs if we killed the Venom Stalker first, then the Dread Creepers and finally the Carrion Spinners.
- Using LoS techniques to keep the curses/poisons off certain classes/players works very well. Spamming cleanses and decurses is a must.
If everyone stands close to the mob, it doesn't charge.This didn't seem to work at all but led to everyone dying in a hurry.
