Vern is a rare crocolisk in a sealed off section of Dalaran underneath the Black Market section of the Underbelly. He can be seen through grates on the floor when entering the Underbelly from the entrance near Krasus' Landing, but normally he can not be reached or interacted with.

Although he can be seen through the floor and with Track Beasts, he cannot be targeted by any means other than typing '/target vern'.
