This device in the hands of a warrior can actually be used as an 'infinite rage' device. Kill some troll warriors, while in between using the device on the yellow builders. This will keep you in combat for a short while as you gather your herbs or what have you. Upon going out of combat, simply rinse and repeat and you will have a full bar of rage for as long as you like.
