SHOULD I REVERT VANDALISM MYSELF?

Generally, yes, in small scale cases. However, exceptions occur.
Please read "About reverting vandalism" below for more info.

WHAT WILL THE ADMINS DO ABOUT IT?

Removing your name from this list shows a lack of trust in our judgment, and will most likely increase your chances of getting a ban!

This is not a "Most Wanted" list, and viewers don't memorise everybody who appears on the list.

Server pages are generally better policed by their users, and we do not like to get involved in such disputes. Vandalism is not the same as a disagreement, and we encourage you to work out the problem on related talk pages rather than reporting them here.

Do not add entries as "suspects", that designation is only for use by admins who have investigated the person in question.

Also labels his changes as "reverting vandalism" when he is in fact erasing the work others are doing on the new formatting system. Is a new user, probably made this account just to vandalize this page. Would not be an issue if he actually used the talk page and didn't act like he was the ruler of the page when there is a whole community behind it. See the history of the page to see how his "cleanups" are actually just nonconstructive reverts, which is wasting the community's time.

Continuing to instigate arguements when given an explanation as to why admins take certain actions with his edits, etc, Talk:Elwynn Forest, Talk:Desolace, etc. Misleading information, suggesting that one of his page ideas will be relevent, only for it to be a minimal lore stub, or even a reference to a single word from a sentence taken out of context of the original source, agent. It makes a generall article relevancy issue. Overall lack of quality to newly created articles, and no sign of improvement, even with attempted mentorship... This is his 3rd or fourth time banned. He has been given mercy in the past, but only so much mercy can be given. His previous ban was for a month. The next step is three months. He will receive permanban next time.

Used own speculation as citation.[10][11] Speculation that was deemed confusing and removed.[12] He then used the links he put as a reason for it to be there, and acted like it was a rule.[13] Added back removed info under a new guise on Darnassus.[14] Removal of cited info with no evidence to the dissenting opinion other than 'confirmed'.[15]

He doesn't follow the policy that he needs to discuss major changes and additions to the talk page. Many of these additions have been false information, or twisted information (taking information out of the context of the original source). Some of his additions even in white are fairly weak, and were taking material out of context. He has been warned already but did not listen. Adding things that aren't really points, and lead to vague unsupported speculatory comments (which aren't allowed). This is follow up after he continued his actions. One week ban.

August 2008

Metknott	contribs (if bot), logs	talk	block user – Continues to change the realm (Server:Eldre'Thalas US)page to reflect that his guild (who has barely cleared Kara) is 1st or 2nd on the server, replacing the actual accomplished guild's names with his own guild's name. The damage is easy to fix...we simply undo his changes...but it's annoying to have to keep doing so, and he refuses to stop. 6 acts with last edit on 1 Sep 2008.
BLOCKED Liam679 2 weeks	contribs (if bot), log • block log	talk	Stubbornly refuses to sign his posts on Talk:Kael'thas Sunstrider after being asked to multiple times. When Ragestorm stepped in and explained why signing posts is important, Liam told him off in an extremely rude and callous manner. After being warned by other admins, he refused to sign his post again, and argued about it instead of just following the policy. He will receive a two week ban for his multiple violations, additionally if he returns and does this again, he will receive a month or two ban next time.
BLOCKED Rolandius 1 month	contribs (if bot), log • block log	talk	Has been warned about recreating pages that were deleted. After "ominous island" was moved to continent, and original page deleted, he recreated it with a confrontational signed message. This lead to a warning, not to do that again. After "southern islands" article was deleted for not being an actual proper title, he repeated the same offense as before recreating the page with a signed message. He also acts as if he is an administrator and becomes confrontational to wowwiki staff, and also attempts to play them against each other, see User_talk:Ragestorm#Admins for his latest attempt. User:Baggins has chosen to give him one more mercy warning in that page. However, this will be his last warning for these actions. Future attempts will not be tolerated. He has baselessly accused User:Dragola of being M1330/Kesmana with no evidence. Attacks are not allowed. Questionable flammatory remarks also added on his "dislike list" on user page after several discussions. While not direct attacks, they will be taken into consideration. In addition he accused Dragola of incorrectly removing information for no reason. From what I, (User:Baggins) could see, Dragola had given fairly detailed reasons in the edit summery section, pointing to why he removed something (generally because it was unspecified speculation or vaguely linked with no citation). There was no reason for Rolandius to attack Dragola. The image will be deleted for being improperly named, Image talk:Young Thrall.png. In addition, he has been blocked twice before up to a total of three weeks. He may not've learned anything from his previous punishment. More recently he has updated the wiki with more false information. Permanent actions against his account seem inevitable. Left a warning on talk page, so please don't ban immediately. Changing to a suspect, see User_talk:Blitzme99#Page_Vashj. Server:Vashj US page should be updated to say guilds must post or link evidence of boss kills to get on progression list, but it wasn't there. BLOCKED Rolandius 4 days	contribs (if bot), log • block log	talk	moving articles without permission ("Atal'ai tribe", Hakkari tribe), instituting edit wars again. Given warnings from various admins but repeatedly ignoring them or argueing against with circular arguments/strawmen fallacies that go nowhere. This is his second ban for not listening, and not acknowledging the warnings. As of now he would only receive a two week ban, doubled from his last infraction. However, after thinking about it over the night, I've decided to give him some mercy, and reduce the ban to four days. Hopefully he can learn from his mistakes, and learn to follow wowwiki's procedures, and be less defensive when admins try to warn him before, or when he crosses the line. He has also created some purely speculatory titles for articles without any speculation warning, or citations, "bloodaxe clan", "drakkari empire", or capitalizing titles that shouldn't be capitalized. Wouldn't acknowledge that he made up the titles when warned about it, or questioned about it, and tried to argue the point as if he was innocent. He has been warned about this latter issue, but is not being banned for those actions at this current time. But future actions in that vein will be factored in if he repeats the offenses again when he returns.

BLOCKED M1330 1 year	contribs (if bot), log • block log	talk	He focuses on editing speculatory information, replacing (with poor English grammar/article use, but that is not against policy) the presented theories with his en masse, and has various minor problems that seem to continue even when warned. He was banned before, but the grounding for another may be tenuous this time. In his defense, some of his edits are helpful and he has not been openly hostile. This seemed a little extreme, but no information was really lost. He is also been known to use sockpuppet User:Kesmana, to do the same kinds of edits. He rarely uses both to edit the same page (although examples exist, see Expansion ideas.), however, although there are some examples of him "congratulating" himself with both accounts after uploading fan work. But since he's ignored multiple warnings, and also blocked in the past, he will be enjoying a one year ban. If he returns and continues this practice it will be permanent.
