Revealed on November 2nd, 2006, THE OFFICIAL Warcraft Encyclopedia is a source for Warcraft lore. It is part of the History of Warcraft which is made up of all the published sources so far. Most of the information there is about elves.

Lack of recent update activity (as of early 2008) seems to indicate Blizzard has either put this project on hold or temporarily removed resources committed to expanding it.
