History
Edit
Warlock pet food has been first introduced to the wow community in the 3.2 patch PTR and Blizzard announced it has been added because they want to add some depth to the warlock gameplay. As the time passed more warlocks complained about the pet food mainly because they were sure that warlock have enough depth and it's another hassle for the warlock which have to farm soul gems and now have too waste more time to be prepared to PvE/PvP.
After many complaints Blizzard decided to delete along with the change of the soul gems in Cataclysm.
