Wednesday morning downtime

Wednesday morning downtime is a period between 5am and 11am CEST (Paris Time) on a Wednesday morning when Blizzard Entertainment takes down all of the European World of Warcraft realms for weekly maintenance. As a result, no one can play World of Warcraft between 5am and 11am on a Wednesday in Europe.

- All World of Warcraft European realms will be closed from 05.00 to 11.00 (CEST Paris Time) for essential weekly maintenance. This is necessary for us to carry out routine inspection, testing and maintenance of our realm infrastructure. We plan to have the realms available as soon as this process is complete.
