Wednesday morning downtime is a period between 5am and 11am CEST (Paris Time) on a Wednesday morning when Blizzard Entertainment takes down all of the European World of Warcraft realms for weekly maintenance. As a result, no one can play World of Warcraft between 5am and 11am CEST on a Wednesday in Europe.

  All World of Warcraft European realms will be closed from 05.00 to 11.00 (CEST Paris Time) for essential weekly maintenance.
