Werewolves, or lycanthropes, are humanoids that can shapeshift into a wolf or wolf-like creature. Werewolves have a vulnerability to silver. The runic spell "mark of the werewolf" imbues a caster with the essence of a werewolf including its vulnerabilities.[1]
Some humans transform into lycanthropic worgen when the moon rises due to the Worgen Curse.[2]
Members of the Wolfcult have been known to transform into worgen, ferocious werewolf creatures.
