Wild Polymorph is the debuff placed on Mages during the "mage call", which occurs randomly during Phase 2 of the Nefarian encounter. This is an instant cast Polymorph spell, with no range or Line of Sight (LoS) checks. It can result in many creatures such as Squirels, Cows, Giraffes, Carrion Grubs, and etc.
