Wise-ear was Drek'thar's wolf companion. Because Drek'thar was blind, Wise-ear was his eyes. During the liberation of the fifth internment camp (which later became the Horde outpost named Hammerfall), Wise-ear was killed. He was then burned on the funeral pyre of Orgrim Doomhammer (who had also been killed in that battle).^{LotC 232-233}
