Whereas other races run at 150% as ghosts, night elves have Wisp Spirit which allows them to move at 175% as ghosts (increased from 150% in Patch 3.0.8.) Can be really useful in grouped world PvP, where you can reach your corpse and resurrect sooner, eat, shadowmeld, and wait to attack again with more HP.
This racial skill improves in Northrend. Whereas other races use a Spectral gryphon in some areas, the night elf turns into a flying Wisp Spirit.
Many call this improved death, mocking night elves for having some of the weakest racial traits of all the races.
