Dark Master Zorc is the first boss of the Pit of Saron in Icecrown Citadel. He attempted to steal the secrets of the Titans hidden in Sholazar Basin, but was thwarted by the titanic watcher Freya and her allies. Now he wants revenge against the enemies of the Twilight's Hammer.


Abilites

Ground Phase

  • Spell fire felflamebolt Fel Firebolt  —  Blasts the target with a bolt of green demonic fire, dealing fire damage.
  • Spell fire felflamering Fel Flamestrike  —  Strikes all enemies in the area of effect with a wave of demonic flames, dealing fire damage.
  • Ability warlock moltencore Burning Portal  —  Channeled spell that when complete will blast open the earth underfoot, creating a burning patch of flame. Darkfire Imps will spawn from the pit and begin attacking random targets.

Air Phase - At 66% health and 33% health, Zorc will enter his Air Phase. He will summon Necrofius during the first air phase, and Phades during the second. Zorc cannot be targeted while in the air, and will not re-enter ground phase until the demon he has summoned is defeated.

  • Spell shadow carrionswarm Carrion Cone  —  Releases a swarm of demonic flies in a cone, dealing nature damage and reducing the movement speed of anyone caught in it.
  • Ability hunter mastermarksman Mark of the Magus  —  Inflicts the target with a demonic curse, increasing the damage they take from all magical attacks.

Phades, the Infernal King's Abilities

  • Ability warrior cleave Cleaving Strike  —  Deals damage to all enemies near Phades' primary target.
  • Spell shadow cripple Cripple  —  Wracks the target with crippling agony, slowing their movement and attacking speed.
  • Spell deathknight gnaw ghoul Furious Bellow  —  Causes all nearby enemies to run in uncontrollable fear for several seconds.

Changes in Heroic Mode

  • Enters air phase at 75%, 50%, and 25% instead of only at 66% and 33%. During the third air phase at 25%, he will summon both Necrofius and Phades at the same time.
