A generic term for combining things. Often used relating to merging changes in source code for software programs. Some people like to use the term integrate.

In wikis, people use this term to combine the contents of wiki pages. If you see two articles which the same topic, you can add the {{Merge}} template to them. This will add them to the category Category:Merge candidates.
