A WoWWiki user is not just anyone who browses WoWWiki. A user is a "WoWWikian" who has gone to the trouble of registering with WoWWiki and has the ability to contribute and gets a user page with an accompanying discussion or talk page.
Here are some things WoWWikians can do that anonymous visitors cannot:[1]
- Create normal articles or pages
- Create discussion pages.
- Edit normal articles or pages
- Mark edits as minor
- Move pages
- Move pages with their subpages
- Upload media files
- Upload media files over existing files
- Get notifications (global or watch oriented)
- Purge the site cache for a page without confirmation
