The World of Warcraft Mobile Armory is the mobile phone version of the discontinued Armory web site in mobile application version. The first version was for the iPhone and iPod Touch available since July 2009, but versions for other mobile OSes followed.

As of August 23 - 34, 2012, the Remote Auction House and Remote Guild Chat features that previously required a World of Warcraft Remote subscription were now free of charge to use.[1]

Features

The major features include:

  • Searching of arena teams, characters, guilds, and items
  • Access to the in game calendar
  • Player achievements
  • Talent calculator
  • With the World of Warcraft Remote subscription option (US$2.99/month or £2.49/month),[1] players can bid on, cancel, and place auctions remotely in the Auction House, as well as collect gold from successful and unsuccessful auctions.
    • "Remote Guild Chat" is part of the Remote subscription and[1] allows you to chat in your guild channel on your phone.

New Features

Features added in version 3.1 (iPhone version)[2] or 2.2.1 (Android version):[3]

  • Automatic price undercutting: Set the default buyout price of your auctions to match or undercut the current lowest buyout price for an item[2][3]
  • Aggregated buyout search results: Multiple auctions posted at the same buyout price can now be viewed as a single group[2][3]
  • Support for the following Guild features: Level, Perks, Rewards, Achievements, News, Events, and MotD[2][3]
  • Search now suggests terms based on previous searches[2][3]
  • Various bug fixes[2][3]
iPhone-only
  • Links to items and achievements received in Remote Guild Chat now link to those sections in the app[2]
  • Links to enchants, quests, abilities, talents, and professions received in Remote Guild Chat now display tool-tips[2]
  • Improved search technology[2]
  • Updated calendar events presentation[2]
  • A character’s talents & glyphs now display on the same page[2]
  • Leaderboard has been removed[2]
  • Realm firsts will no longer appear in the activity feed[2]
  • Bookmarks are now saved locally; all old bookmarks will be lost[2]
Android-only
  • Realm status[3]
  • Talent calculator[3]

  • Added a 3D character viewer to the character sheet (higher-end devices only)
