A large, furry humanoid animal that usually lives in or near a cave. Some of the varieties in colder regions breathe ice breath. Yeti are skinnable, unlike most humanoids. Yeti can be found in Feralas, the Hillsbrad Foothills, Winterspring, Dun Morogh, and the Alterac Mountains. Also they are to be found in Northrend

Yeti are cousins to wendigo. They live in colder climates, far away from civilized communities. Yeti are far more territorial and aggressive than wendigo, usually attacking intruders on sight. A yeti begins combat with its breath weapon and then closes into melee, attacking fiercely^{MG 141}
