Yowler is a level 20 named gnoll found in the Redridge Mountains. Verner Osgood wants Yowler's cold, dead paw.

The Stormwind army is so busy dealing with the orcs, they don't have the troops to protect the Redridge Mountains from local threats like the gnolls. Their leader is Yowler, who resides within the Redridge Canyons and is wanted dead by the people of Lakeshire.

Cataclysm

In the upcoming expansion World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Guard Parker notes that over a hundred gnolls called Yowler have been killed, and that the original Yowler must have had a large number of sons with the same name as him. As it happens, yet another Yowler is threatening Lakeshire at this time.
