Inner Fire is a free instant self-cast buff that increases a priest's armor gained from items by 60%, and increases spell power by 531 at level 85. With a duration of 30 minutes and no cost, there is no reason for the priest not keep this buff applied at all times.

• Inner Sanctum causes Inner Fire to reduce all spell damage by 2/4/6% while it is active, and increases the movement speed bonus of your [Inner Will] by 2/4/6%.

Glyphs

•  [Glyph of Inner Fire] increases the armor bonus grant by Inner Fire by 50%.

Patch changes

• Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): There are no charges anymore. This spell no longer costs mana.
  
• Patch 3.0.9 (2009-02-10): Duration has been increased to 30 minutes and can no longer be dispelled.
  
• Patch 1.10.2 (2006-05-03): Rank 3 will no longer have charges consumed when Power Word: Shield is active.
  
• Patch 1.5.0 (2005-06-07): Now stacks with other effects that increase attack power and armor.
