Along with Saavedro of Stratholme and his mentor, Ordevaas Portalseeker, Ketiron had fought in the first two, the Ring of Blood in the hills of Nagrand in Outland, and the Amphitheater of Anguish, amidst the ruins of Zul'Drak in Northrend. Upon his retirement from the field, Ketiron gave this sword to Telek as a gift from teacher to pupil.
